Love an answer

I have been researching and reading posts searching for answers. I am frustrated. I am a 42 year old female who had been prescribed hydrocodone for an extended period of time. Approx. four years.  I had realized changes in my mood and personality  that were not healthy. I also had realized I gained 35 lbs. Over the few years I have exercised, dieted and did everything I can but NOTHING will make the weight go away. I have burned consistently 700-1000 calories a day. And dieted with no luck. No more muscle growth or results at all.  FYI, My thyroid tested fine.. Is this from the hydrocodone?  If so, how long does it take to start losing weight? I have stopped all use of the medication.

Thank you for responding. Yes, please PM me your Provitamins information. After some time taking the hydrocodone I had noticed mood changes, irritability. Social problems and of course the weight gain. I had come off for a few weeks then was prescribed more because of an outpatient surgery. So after another week I stopped. I was so bound up and in pain, I thought my stomach was going to explode. I've learned to loathe the meds.

It depends on may Factors..Like Age, Health, How many Meds you came off at the same time, How many Years you have used meds or drugs. If we start taking Lots of vit/min and eat healthy foods and also get some kind of exercise this helps to kick in them Brain Chems and such. They do get affected by Substances this is why it is called a Brain Disease too. I had gained so much weight when using because I would not eat so the Body will store Fat..Then right before I came clean I went on a Living Lean Diet and lost like 30lbs in 6 weeks..After I came clean I was eating Bad food because I could not cook so it was the Micro Crapp. Now I have noticed that since I am back to eating right and getting going it has kicked back in for me to lose. I have almost 20months and it did take some time, but I am 58 and this time I did not bounce back as quick.
I sure can PM you that Provita thing I did and it is great..It also is good for Diabetes, High Blood Pressure and so on. You have to make these small meals at least 6 times a day and stay away from sodium. Everything has to be made from scratch and ever certain Veg and Fruits can not be eaten at first because some Veg are Carbs and some fruits are high in sugar..It really works and makes you feel so Good..I am starting it again for sure and have to do this way the rest of my Life.

How long ago did you stop the Meds?? It does take Time for the Brain/Body to Balance back when we remove these Substances.
