has anyone tried lunesta i think its **** and it makes my mouth taste real bad and i get headaches the next day and i dont sleep 7-8 hours at all maybe 4 i just dont know i guess i'm a real insomniac but i was wondering is everyone just sleepping real good or is it just me? i am also 4 days off of xanax maybe its a rebound from that can someone give me some info or ideas to get myself to sleep??

i quit lunesta 2 days ago i slept for 6 hours last night on no drugs all i took was some natural stuff its called SleepMD has anyone heard of it..its not bad it knocked me out so that'll tell u something so now all i'm on is lexapro10mgs in the morning i'mso proud i have no drugs in me i cant beleive how far i got it took me 6 weeks but i'm doing it !!

i'm off xanax cold turkey from 8mgs a day to 4 to 2 to 1 then off for 5 days now
and i'm off all oxy's roxys percs up to 300mgs a day cold turkey for 36 days or so

defubteky the xanax...i onced detoxed off of a benzo(klonopin) and i can remember it being weeks with no sleep..
Melantonin did help me some..
lunesta taste horrible..I think it can be used as a diet pill..Everything taste horrible

hey there,

i didn't sleep well for weeks after i gave up my xanax addiction.  one of my doctors recommended taking melatonin because it's a sleep aid.  i can't remember if it worked though.  soon after, i saw my other doctor (the addiction specialist) and he gave me lunesta, which didn't work at all for me.  The taste is sooo sick!  i definitely know how you feel.  finally, when i started seeing a psychiatrist, she wrote a script for trazodone (i always talk about trazodone when ppl say they have sleep issues, sorry!).  it has helped me tremendously.  i'm not sure of the risk for dependency with this medication, but i would say it's worth asking about.  i don't have a ton of knowledge on it though.

Its definately from coming off of the xanax... alot of people who get off of benzo's don't sleep right for weeks.. the 4 hours you are getting is alot for 4 days off of it..

I didn't think Lunesta really worked for me either...
