Ma Huang

I have been taking a supplement containing Ma Huang for energy and clearer thinking. Someone told me last night that it is very bad for you and could cause stroke, etc. Is there any truth to this? The product is made by Next Gen International and is called Thermogen Plus. (cece.nextgenima.com or nextgen.com)
