I feel marijuana is bad for your health for a few reasons. The first and foremost is the potential of being dependent and addicted to it. Then eventually going from marijuana to worse drugs like opiates, cocaine, mushrooms, lsd, pcp, meth, or inhalents etc...I smoked weed for 3 years. Then I started to get bored with it. Most stoners do. It made me very lathargic and lazy. I had no social skills which led to some depression, so there is some mental health issues right there. I chose to move on to other drugs because in the beginning pot gave me that fulfillment inside. There fore I was seeking that through mushrooms, ecstasy, alcohol, cocaine, and worst of all, prescription pain pills like norco. I am now addicted to norco (vicodin) and having a hell of a time kicking the addiction. If i had never took my first smoke of weed I don't know where I would be. Probably in a completely different state of life. And most likely, not battling my addiction to pills.
As for a physical health issues, yes it is bad. Any smoke you pull into your body is bad. It can make you very lazy and apethetic, meaning going out and taking on the world isn't a priority. All ambition is gone. If one chose to abuse marijuana and marijuana alone I feel the biggest consequence coming from that would be lack of motivation and need to explore the world. That is where I was stuck.
if you don't use it as a gateway drug, you are fine.
