Marijuana and heart

by John, Nov 16, 1999 12:00AM
i'm 18 yrs old and i'm a heavy marijuana smoker. i feel my heart pounding all of the time and it tends to beat fast. i also have high bloodpressure. i never had any of these problems until 6 months after i started smoking so i dont know if marijuana use is related to these symptoms. i notice the sympotoms are more severe when i do not use marijuana, but i still feel them when i do use. are these symptoms related to marijuana use?

god made pot, man made beer who do you trust.  Marijuana is harmless. nobody has ever died from using it so keep on toking.

oh-good advice tod. you will become brainless someday. take it from someone who know. my brother doesnt know what the heck is going on most of the time. it is an awful sight to see when you really care about someone. keep on toking and you will learn when you get older.

Well, tod, "god" also made Monkshood, and if you were to smoke that, you'd be facing possibility of death. Your logic is terrible. Not everything that god made is for our consumption.

I wouldn't continue using marijuana if I were you. Smoking it certainly won't help your problem, regardless of whether or not it's the cause. Also keep in mind that if you're getting your weed from a dealer, you run the risk of obtaining a laced drug. Just don't buy anything off the black market (that is, don't buy anything illegal), because it's a terrible idea. It's unregulated and can be extremely dangerous.
