Marjuana Abuse

Me and my ex husband are going through a custody battle. He is addicted to marjuana and has been for years. About six months ago he quit. I know for a fact he smoked it about a week ago and he is taking a drug test friday. I have requested a hair follicle test. Will it show up already after a week?

Hair analysis is extremely accurate. It not only traces any drugs in a person’s system in the present, but over the past few months. A two-inch sample of hair reveals what the person has ingested over the past four months. Hair drug testing is more costly than urine testing, but its use is increasing because of its accuracy, convenience, and effectiveness.

Yes.   I assume that he will also be requesting a hair follicle test for you, also?  Most judges and His Lawyers would do both partners in a dispute.  If you have partaken in any herb, or coke or meth or MMDA, or ecstacy, or opiates, or benzo's - - - - - You get the picture = the hair follicle test goes back months (6) and is extremely sensitive and discriminatory for ALL parties in the dispute.  It would be a real shame to have the children cut off from all visits to biological parents that were not supervised. And Foster Parents involved.  Arent you both mature enough to reach a reasonable agreement without the animosity?  He will always be the childrens Father - and they will not forget that if you jam Dad up regarding his visits to them.....

i agree you two prob should try reaching an agreement between you two, are you on here because you struggle with addiction yourself ? We is your childrens father and thats important to keep in mind, also if you do struggle with addiction you know how hard it can be, and even if you do not struggle with it you can read these post and perhaps understand what he is going through
