Messed up sinuses from vicodin?

I have been taking vicodin since 2000.  at my high point was up to 3 or 4 norcos a day.  Last fall I got terrible allergy-like symptoms in my sinuses.  My instincts   told me it was from all of the vicodin use.  Of course I continued to use.   TO give you and idea of how bad it has been,on a scale of 1-10, 10 being worse, my nose has been between an 8 and 10 for the last year.  I have seen three doctors and they can do nothing.  They just said I have "Allergic rhinitis"- an inflammation of the nasal passages.

Anyway.....has ANYBODY else experienced this WHILE taking vicodin.
I do realize a lot of people experience a stuffy nose as a WD symptom but my question is if anybody has experience this DURRING their use?

I have since quit the norcos!  I am going to give my body 3 months to balance out!  I also quit smoking at the same time I quit the norcos- OK that was really hard!!  I am hoping to be able to breath again by 2010!!

Sorry I haven't but what I would do would be to google: "Vicodin and rhinitis"; and "Vicodin and Allergy"; " vicodin and stuffy nose". I bet you would get some hits.

You aren't by any chance using a nasal spray are you? Because those are notoriously addictive and cause rebound stuffiness. Best to be avoided.
