Methadone Clinics

Me being 5 months pregnant, will they help me at a methadone clinic? Or am I going to have to worry about another No????

It depends have you found an obgyn yet ? It would be far better if you have a letter from your ob stating they know you are taking it and feel its the satfest for the baby....

HI Jen avisg has a good point and it wouldn't hurt to have an ace in your back pocket just in case ...but I think if your honest about your abuse and tell them your already taking methadone you shouldn't have much of a problem they may pull a u/a on you just to make sure your already using it but so be it...most of the clinics are about the money and as long as you have the cash and a measurable habit they should be more then happy to help..... it will be a lot cheeper then getting them off the street also...im glad to see your finely trying it this way it should be your saving grace good luck and God bless...Gnarly

Dude it was a pain, but they ended up taking me!!! Thank god.. Well my old OB had already done testing on me and stuff.. So they faxed that stuff to the clinic!!! Plus my Suboxone doc helped to.. It was a hassle!!! I was sick thismorning, went in at 8, had to drive 40 mins north to the other clinic to see the doctor, and at 2 I finally got dosed!!! Crazy that I have to go every day!!! I will never have problems with having clean urine though!! Thanks guys!!!!

Hi Jen you did the right thing now your getting it legitimately and should no longer have problems...I know going to the clinic is a hassle but it a small price to pay to know your always going to have it and not be obtaining it illegally you just saved yourself some major greif with cps during your delivery everything is on the up and up now good luck to you and your baby....God bless.......Gnarly
