Methadone Withdrawal Day 34

Bad headaches the past 2 days and still feel tired all day. I know I should  be exercising but can't bring myself to do it yet. My withdrawal has been a lot different this time around, meaning the first 2 weeks I felt pretty good and then week 3 I really started to feel like crap. It's weird. I'm sleeping better but still having rls bothering me throughout the night. I have literally done everything possible to ease the pain. As each day goes by though I feel more and more empowered and know this is all worth it! Hope everyone had a good day and remember to stay strong, you are not alone in this!

Yes, I've been taking both everyday plus a multivitamin. I also have been taking Hylands restful legs, wrapping them at night with ace bandages, and putting muscle rub cream on them. The rls has gotten better this week but still driving me nuts because it been so long. Hopefully to goes away soon, this has been the only symptom that just makes it unbearable.

Are you taking Magnesium & Potassium at night??..These relax the muscles.
When I first came clean off a 12 year ride with that med there was Anxiety to the Moon for a long time, but it also had to do with the other 2 meds I c/t with it. I did not even go into flowblown w/ds for at least 10 days. Ha! I thought by then I had it licked..Oh Boy! No way. The last thing was Weakness and it was bad weakness. For the first 40++ I ran around and did things because of the anxiety. Then when I crashed with the weakness it also came with no-interest. The sleep started to kind of adjust a bit, but it was a few here and there and then it kind of got back on track but that too took some time. The whole time I started to take good nature Liquid Vit/Min..Some during the day for energy and some at night for sleep. SO I would say to just keep on doing what you are doing and in TIME this all will balance back from the removal of these Stims. The best thing is to try to push as hard as you can and take it all in baby steps. These steps will get bigger soon. Walking or any Kind of exercise is the Key, plus diet..The Sun & also music helps get the serotonin & the endorphins up. Just keep a very POSITIVE out look on it all. You are coming around better then ever.. I am Happy for you. Always keep that Guard Up around you. I wish you the best.

Hi- glad to hear you're still truckin along :)
I go down to 11mg tomorrow and my biggest issue is migraines/headaches as well (along with insomnia). I've never experienced them before but the light literally hurts my head sometimes, so I can only assume it's a migraine. And it su$ks.... Big time!

I've heard of a cream out there that you can buy online (not sure if it's available at the store or not), that helps w RLS too. I read about it in an old forum on here. It's called restless legs calming cream.

For going cold turkey off 30mg, it sounds like you're doing pretty well... All things considered.
Congrats on 34 days! I'm sure it seems like a lifetime!!! Wish I had the courage to just jump where I'm at... I think about it daily; wanting to get the pain done and over with. But, I'm too scared so I'll just continue my taper with all my OTC meds to sleep and help w the headaches.
Thanks for continuing to post your progress... Gives me hope and inspiration that I'm NOT alone in this and that I CAN do it!!!
Hang in there :)))
