Methadone

This is not really a question more of a statement. I Detoxed myself off 30mgs of methadone i went down a quarter of a half every three weeks and OMG it worked problem is i had a reason i was pregnate and didn't want the baby to withdrawl so it work by the time i was 16 weeks i was off all together for the rest of my preagnacy and at the end i just took adavan for like 1 week to sleep well. My issue is as soon as the baby came out i was off bed rest and started again iv never went past 10 mgs but now i can't ween myself, i tell ya its a mind thing so now im gonna try Supoxone starting MOnday . Can anyone tell me if this is gonna work? Because it's gonna cost alot of money i guess they don't except insurance so i have to pay and im afraid because this time i have to go to work and take care of 2 year old and i have a 12 year old Autistic child please can anyone tell me will the Supoxone treatment work???

Hey  Im happy you decided to taper off the methadone....I mean your so close to being done....its true the last 10ml are the tuffest  but id you go slow it wont be to bad
and it defently will be doable...as for praying God helped me off it and I truly believe
prayer is a powerful weapon on the war of addiction..so pull close to God when it gets tuff...Jesus cam to set the captives free and theres not to much more captivating then
addiction ...when we are week he is strong....good luck and God bless...

Gnarly I think you are a blessing Iv been praying about this and i feel your right im gonna tapper off the methadone 1 mil at a time every week or 2 till im done ill let you know how that works out and thank you and GOD BLESS YOU TOO :)

In my opinion, Sub without aftercare (or during-care in this case) will only work if you're on it the rest of your life. The Sub is just a place-holder in your life. It will place the addiction in remission, but the addiction will return when you stop. Counseling or aftercare is a must if you want to get off the Sub down the road.

HI and welcome to the forum....well if your only taking 10ml of methadone your so close to the end it would be like jumping from the fryng pan into the fire when your at 10ml try droping 1ml off a week and see if that dosent work for you....if you go to sub there probably going to start you out on a higher dose then necessary and your going to wind
up more strung out then you are now...its like your so close to being threw with methadone you could be off in a month...you can jump off at 5ml and its no worst
then tapering below 5ml so why torcher yourself just jump at 5 going on sub is only trading addictions and its no ezer to get off especially if they give you a high dose to start with witch is farely common ...Id just stick to the methadone and finish it off
