Hi everyone, I've been taking a muscle relaxant from canada which has methocarbomol in it for apprx. 15 days...i take about 3 or 4 pills a night.  Am i addicted? If i stop am i going to experience withdrawls? I can't find any info online about whether or not they are addictive. thanks

Hi,

Is that all it has in it? I took that for months after a car accident and it isn't addictive. You should be fine stopping but if you feel any side effects just taper your dose. But I don't think its addictive.

Robaxin has methocarbomol in it and is a muscle relaxer and is non addictive.. Taking more then prescribed will not get you high but it will tear up your stomach.. Be good to yourself... lesa

Can I ask why you are taking this?
I ask b/c maybe instead you could go to your doctor to get something effective that won't be as hard on your stomache as aceteminiphen.
