Methodone & Clonidine together

I am taking methodone. I feel like I my dose is not enough. I have had several people tell me to take a clonidine with my methodone. Does anyone know what this will do?

clonidine should only be prescribed if hypertension occursif you feel your dose is not holding you throughout the day I suggest raising your dose.

Do you know what clonidine is??  Why do you think your dose is too low?  It's not supposed to get you high; it's supposed to keep you comfortable while you work on recovering from your addiction,right?

HI wehat symptoms are you having ?? methadone lowers your B/P already in not so sure it would be in your best interest to lower it more explane what your feeling and if your lookinh gof a high methadone wont get you therer unless it is abused write back with a bit more info.......Gnarly

what do you want it to do?
to prevent relapse or to get high?

That is a dangerous mix. Did the doctor prescribe the Clonidine? If not, please speak with him/her before even attempting this. No doctor worth their weight would suggest that combination.
