Mind games

Day 6 here! Feeling better. Getting more sleep each nitght, not a full nights sleep yet tho. I've been having these vivid dreams, that I've used, or about to use, and I wake up feeling guilt and remorse until I realize that it was just a dream. The subconscious is so powerful, if only I could use it for good, instead of evil, for lack of a better cliche.

Dreams of using are very, very common. They will subside.
Staying away from the people, places and things associated with your use is
A very important part of staying clean.
Recovery is a marathon not a sprint.
Changing your routine.
Start an exercise regiment, healthy lifestyle, counseling, substance abuse
Support groups, na/ aa, celebrate recovery. Attending church.
As much support as you can get.
The physical acute withdrawal symptoms are temporary.
Your thoughts about using are what needs to change.
At this point there is no such thing as recreational use.
That needs to be resolved in your mind.
There is freedom from the chains and bondage of addiction.
Keep the faith.
Congrats on your clean time.
Keep on keepin on.
