i dunno anything for sure, but i just thought it may be a good idea to get a massage....a professional one....massage releases toxins from the body, and drinking plenty of water afterwards will prolly speed up detoxification? anyway....i wish u the best of luck....YOU CAN DO THIS!!!!!!!!!!1
That is part of the withdrawals. It should start getting better here soon. It's great you're drinking tons of water. It seemed to help me quite a bit. Try and go on a long walk tonite. That really helped me. It was 5 degrees out last night here but I just bundled up. It was so relaxing. My golden retriever loved it too! It is so hard to get the energy up to do it, but it helps so so much. It does help with the sleep some what and also relaxes you a bit. Vent all you want. We all know what you are going through. The last 3 times I came off of them I probably posted and responded to over 50 posts a day! It really does help. Keep up the good work. You are so close! Best of luck to you and hope you get to feeling better soon. You can beat this!

Keep hanging on. Methadone has a much longer half life than the other opiates. W/Ds can last up to twice as long. So bear down and Git-R-Done.
well ive started sneezing, yawning, and my nose will not stop running (is this a sign of it working out of my system? all that didnt start till today). Ive been drinking tons of water, i hope thats helping. its getting worse as the day goes. why do days have to be so long! i'm at work here suffering, i dread trying to sleep tonight. :( sorry just venting. thanks for the encouragement.
You're doing great! After day 3, it is all down hill. By day 5 it is all mental. At least that is how it was for me. This is my 4th time going thru this. I'm on day 4 now and feeling quite a bit better. Like checkmeout said, try and move around. What worked great for me was going on long walks in the evening. I know it's hard to get up the energy to do so, but you'll feel great afterwards. It really helps for the shaky leg thing. Best of luck!
I meant to say, "i WOULDN'T mix the dayquil and ibuprofin." LOL sorry bout that typo.
I've found mornings to be pretty rough. I'm on day 5 here from vicodins (hydrocodone). I gobbled them by the handful for about 7 years. I'm really starting to feel better already. I know it's hard to even think about this, but getting up and moving around helps out tremendously. Not only does it help to keep your mind off of things, but for some reason it makes your body feel a whole lot better. Take a hot bath and drink some coffee or something with caffeine in it. Then perhaps take some ibuprofin. I found dayquil to work best for me on days 2 and 3 because my sinuses were all f'd up like I had the flu. Of course it should be one or the other. I would mix the dayquil with the ibuprofin cause that's probably not good. Then as soon as you're able, get up and start doing stuff. Anything. Fortunately for me I had to get out to shovel my driveway. I hated to even think about it, but once i got out there moving around I started feeling tons better. I sure hope you're able to make yourself feel better because I know how bad it can be. Best of luck to you. Keep posting here because these are the best of folks.
yes for me they were. but your on the right track. i have never detoxed of methadone, but of hydro you half finished already.. the hard part is passing now. do you want to chat to get your mind off wds.. just keep posting
