Ms-contin help with Oxycontin withdrawals?

by Maximill, Jan 05, 2007 12:00AM
Im currently weening myself off of oxycontin so I can take suboxone. I was told I needed to be down to 1 1/2 80mg pills a day for it to work correctly. Im out of pills and the best I can do is Ms-Contin, 60mg. Im currently taking the recomended dosage of oxycontin and will be switching to suboxone on tuesday. Will these Ms-Contin prevent me from going into withdrawals?

Of course, Im just asking if this will "temporarily" stop them. I've already quit cold turkey about a year ago, was off them for about 6 months and then once again got back. I know what to expect and I'm not underestimating them at all.

I wish I could answer that but I am confused: what is ms-contin? Then maybe I can answer.
Come back to me (:
