My DOC

Things I must never forget: It started by making me feel good & full of energy. It made me feel I could do anything. It ended making me take more to feel normal. I started to feel I was'nt normal anyway. It made me doubt myself.  It took more & more of my energy away. I started to hate myself for the secret I held. It made me lose faith in myself. I wanted to die. I took it to get rid of pain. It caused more. Pain & suffering are part of life but so is joy & happiness. I must accept that. It is like a parasite in my mind. Willing to take over if I let it. I can never forget it because it is like a snake willing to strike if I let down my guard.I must be strong & never forget this or the power it once held.
