My Legs STILL hurt so BAD???

by Sarah231, Apr 15, 2008 06:43PM
Tomorrow will be day 14 and my legs still hurt terribly.

It is even worse at night. I get only a few hours (maybe) every night and
I'm just wearing out.

Does this seem an unusually long time for this to be still going on?

Vicodin.

Long term (about 10 years).

I've been taking the melatonin and all the other restless leg things that people have mentioned from the drugstore. I even put the bar of soap under my sheet.
I thought it was getting a little better and then WHAM my legs hurt worse than ever.

I want this monkey off my back soooo bad, but I can see how people relapse. The w/d's just beat you up.

Have you tried walking during the daytime to help?   some form of exercise and some stretching before bed...neighbor tried it as she had this and I did not...i work out alot and she is a copd patient so she is limited...she started doing what she could physically and it helped her

Have you tried a muscle relaxer?  I used Zanaflex and it worked great and I also puts you to sleep as well.. Susie
