My Miracle Concoction For Fatigue/Lethargy

Okay everybody - I just thought that I would share this with all of you who are battling with fatigue, lack of energy and lethargy after withdrawing from opiates.  I have come up with my own concoction of sorts that meets my Doctors approval (overwhelmingly).  If any choose to adopt the same or similar, I advise to please clear it with your Doctor first just as a precautionary measure.

I have been doing this for about the last 10 days or so and it has made an enormous difference for about the last 6 days.  As a side note - I also consider myself to be an extremely healthy eater and walk and do stretches on an everyday basis.

1.) Regular Multi-Vitamin
2.) Calcium and Magnesium (2x daily)
3.) Zinc (2x daily)
4.) Mega Amino-Acid Complex - 21 different amino acids (2 caps 3x daily)
5.) Vitamin B-12 INJECTABLE (0.25ml or cc every other day)
            * it is a proven fact that vitamin b-12 is more readily absorbed and utilized by the body when given
subcutaneously (fatty tissue) or in the muscle.
6.) 5 hour energy drink supplement (advertised on TV) - supposedly better for you than energy drinks.  I drink one daily, usually around lunch time.

Okay, so, like I said - this has helped me and I just thought that I would share it with you.  But again, please check with your doctor first if you plan on trying (especially if pregnant or on ANY meds currently).

Thanks again to all - give me some feedback and let me know what you think ;)

Meg

that 5 hour energy stuff has the caffeine equivalent of one cup of coffee and no sugar.  The "energy drinks" like red bull, monster and rock star all have 10-15 times as much caffeine, loads of sugar and guarana (not good for people w/ heart conditions) - I'm not supposed to have caffeine (at least not much) because of an abnormal heart rhythm - and it doesn't seem to affect my heart rate or cause irregularities (at least ones that weren't there before).

when i used to work for the doctor who i now see - i was getting b-12 injections every two weeks, but i never really noticed a difference. . .and this was BEFORE any of my pill problems ever started. . .

Follow Up.

I can't drink the energy drink with the energy complex in my multis.  Too much of a reaction.

Hi Meg!

I stopped taking the Cal/Mag.  I was taking it for a short time to help w/sleep and RLS.  I think I took it for 3 nights and didn't need it any more.  Now I put my head down and don't remember falling asleep.

One other thing I might recommend, get the multi w/an all natural energy complex.

The B12 I take as a tab.

Have you ever tried taking the B12 all by itself to see what the effects were?
