Yes,,I had the dark circles under my eyes and always looked tired and haggard,,around day 4 I remember my husband telling me that I was glowing and had color in my checks. My skin also cleared up acne wise too. I did however break out in a weird case of freckles all over my forehead and nose,,not the light ones either the dark gold brown ones. It later was linked to my birth control pill but I still have them this day and they are growing on me. My hair and nails started to grow quickly and my sense of taste improved too. Its amazing to see the changes in your body. You will notice all these lil things as time goes on!Congrats on Day 4!! ~Bkitty
I have a picture up that shows me on pills and off the pills,,its a huge change
Hi,
I am sure you are looking better and it's not just all in your head! Many, many positive changes take place when quitting pills such as a healthy coloring can return to your skin, under eye bags are gone or a lot less noticeable, hair can become shinier and healthier, etc. The positives are just endless. Way to go on day 4! It's only gonna get better from here :)
I had bags under my eyes, they were gone around 3-4 days after I quit taking the painkillers too. I was taking 3-5 Roxycodone 30s a day for a year, subutex 7 months, now I'm clean and back 100%. You have to get fed up with the cycle of finding it, feeling like crap when you can't. You just have to get fed up or you'll be right back where you started. I'm just tired...9 years of drugs, and right when I got off of them I applied myself to making money, I started a fast money making business in less than a month from detoxing and planning/structure/goals. Feb 22 was my 5th day off the drugs, making $9 an hour with $200 to my name. March 12th and my addiction of drugs turned into an addiction of learning/reading books and life, leading me to success and 20 grand with money still coming in.
Make something negative a positive. I've always been intelligent, it just took clarity to see what I needed to do to apply it. I went from Zero to CEO.
We're all addicts, we just need to choose the correct addiction. If I can do it, anyone can.
