Has NA been helpful for you in your recovery? I'm considering going to my first meeting tomorrow, I'm just not sure if a 12 step program is right for me.

Yes! NA is the one place I can go where everyone "gets me". It wasn't like that at first I felt awkward and out of place and didn't say much but regardless I always left with peace in my heart. Definitely give it a shot. It may take a few meetings to find a good home group. ~bkitty

I agree with Kyle if you want to get clean and stay clean N/A is priceless you will learn what recovery is all about give the meetings a chance you will find they help beyond measure good luck and God bless.........Gnarly

I'm  going!! 10:00 AM after I walk the dog. Worst case scenario is that it is awkward and uncomfortable...... so really no different from the symptoms I've been havin at home . It's definitely got to be worth it. All those members can't be wrong

It helps. A lot. Other addicts to talk to when you're weak. When the voice in your head is saying just one won't hurt.
Find the group that you're most comfortable with. Sit and listen. Talk when you are comfortable. Don't kid yourself; if you really want to stay clean then this is a must.
