So I know I have already posted about this before, but I wanted to post again to see if I could get any more info on ths.  How will it makes me feel? Will it help with my mood?  Will it help with cravings? will it help with the crawling feeling in my feet? I'm on day 9 of sub withdrawl and still feeling VERY anxious. Any knowledge, advice would be3 AWESOME!

i tool 50mgs of revia a day after detox
same drug as nal.
this was 4yrs ago
now they are giving patients ldn
a much lower dose
on my dose, i noticed that my hair feel out in clumps
as far as preventing cravings, i am not really sold on the idea
because i have taken it, and it did not do much for my cravings
but this drug is not a narcotic, so if you try it and it doesnt work, you will not go through detox again
i would like to have another perspective on this drug, i havent seen anyone here other than myself that has taken revia or ldn
same with my other recoevry site,
where are all the people who have tried this drug?
anywho, good luck
no matter what you decide, you can recovery
with the pill or without the pill, recoevry is still possible

OK, I think you MAY be confusing two different drugs. You mention naloxone, which is used in emergency situations to counteract opiod overdose. It's mostly given through the IV route. It's the drug mixed in with Bupe to make Suboxone. That way, if a Sub user crushes the tablet and injects it, the naloxone with bind with the receptors and make the person either fairly sick, or the Sub opiate affect will have NO effect at all.

I think you may be thinking about naltrexone. Naltexone is a longer acting version of naloxone and is used in the long term care of opiate addicts. It's even implanted under the skin in some people. With naltrexone in your system, the opiate will not give a high (or pain relief). Can you confirm which you're talking about so we can help?

I was on sub for 3 1/2 weeks. I started at 12 mg',s and quickly tapered down to 4mg, then 2 for a about a week. I got to 1 mg-.5 and jumped off. My Dr is like INSISTING that I get on Naloxene, I dunno if I want to though. I just don't want to deal with ANYMORE w/d's you know?

to: refusingbondate. You are so sweet! yeah, the thought of trying to find just a small crumb of sub to take has crossed my mind a million times today GRRRRR. Thanks for everything

naloxone, unfortunately for suboxone wd pr amy opiate/opioid wd will not aid in easing the pain or physical aspect, it will help a littloe with the cravings for opiates..the biggest advantage with naloxone is that it will block any opiate/opioid no matter what the potency from having any effects for quite a long time especially if you take it for a while. congrats on day 9, what doose of suboxone were you last on? and for how long total were you on sub? i was on 32 mgs daily for 8 mths and the  got off due to ana ccident and now am in a methaodne treatment, but let me know your sub info and i get better help aid you explaining the wd;s and all the questions the how long? how bad? when will it peak or get less bad? etc..-christos

Hey girl  -- congrats on day 9.  From what I know naloxene will help with cravings. Its not an opiate so I dont think its addicting, but used to prevent people from relapse.  I think it will keep the cravings at bay and make it difficult to get high - as its used to block opiates from your sysems - meaning you could take an opiate but you'd feel nothing from it.  Suboxone is part naloxene so since you were on it - you've already taken naloxene.  I think its relatively safe too.  Hopefully more will come along with more knowledge about it.  The only time Ive taken it was when on suboxone and I really didnt crave at all on suboxone.  Im not so sure it will help with anxiousness or crawling feelings in the feet and legs as thats withdrawal and it will not take away withdrawal symptoms...  best of luck - and stay strong!
