I been off the Loris for about 6 months. I get very deprest, and there is days that I feel like crap and NO energy. I took Lortab for years, due to 2 car nasty car accidents. I also feel like my brain and self is trying to get to know me again. Anyone has felt this before.  I dont feel like my self! Maybe I was clouded for years with this darn pill. Thank you for your thoughts. God Bless!

There's a few supplements that are thought to help with depression. You can try any or all of them, just not at once. They are St. John's Wort, 5-HTP, and Sam-e.

I found a natural herbal sleep aid called malitonin. It comes in liquid form. It costs about 6 bucks. Give it a try. Couldn't hurt huh?

By the way, I'm proud of your accomplishments. Keep it up.

Hello,
Thank you so much for your comment and support! I took vitamins at the begin and then I stoped. I do drink tons of good water and started exercising. My body still hurts, and my sleep is awful!!!!!! I can fall asleep and then wake up, every other hour. The good thing is that I DO NOT CRAVE AND HAD NO DESIRE THE MED AT ALL. A month ago I found half a pill in one of my purses and I put it in the garbage. I was on Lortab for about 14 years give or take. I have come to understhand that is a progress of healing Physically, Emotianal and Spiritually. Do  you have please have any sugestions on any vitamins or any thing from health food store for sleep??? Thanks so much!!! God Bless!

By the way, congrats on the 6 months...that's a huge accomplishment. Be diligent though...many people relapse in the 6-9 month mark!

Many people start opiates in order to self medicate depression and anxiety issues. Then, when they quit, the depression resumes where it left off. After 6 months, you may want to get a physical and talk to a psychiatrist. Please, don't go to a GP for depressive issues. See a good psychiatrist, preferably one with experience treating people with addiction issues.
