Need Support

Still fighting like hell to stay clean and it feels like the hours are just dragging by. I left work early yesterday and called out sick today, to take sometime for myself. I thought a little time to re-evaluate life would be great. Unfortunately, it left me seriously more depressed and craving real bad. Work used to be a safe place and now I even have to be afraid to go there. the coke is everywhere i turn. I am sitting at home tonight really struggling with the emotional aspect. I would love to run back to it. I really want to be numb right now.

Being numb is only temporary and then you have bigger problems. Re-read that burning nose post!! Maybe that will help or go to Cathy's craving list. I hear that also helps. I am sorry you are dealing with so much. Please hang in there. You are doing great!!

Read the craving list in the health pages...remind ur self of all the resons u quit...the igh is so short in the scheme of things....it is on my desktop so i can read it whenever i feel cravings...i had it on my fridge for a while!

im so happy you stayed strong last night, i was battling it too and tired of having to ******* fight like this sometimes. i promise it will get better, but just when you think your safe, bam it hits you. never ever let your guard down. i am so proud of you cause you told me this was impossible, but you are doing this. today will be another test, but never be afraid to ask for help. you truly have done amazing. please don't numb yourself, you have come so far.

Seems like a lot of people are posting the same question, but how much longer am i supposed to feel like this. I am not sure i can keep this up for that much longer. its not getting better.

hey sweetie, it takes some time to undo all the damage we do to us.  i have a journal entry on time,  if you get a chance read it.  hang on and know it does get better.  i promise.  if i can do it i know you can.

All I can say is you have come one H**** of a long way to turn around now. Minute by minute sometimes is all I can do. The funny thing is the minutes start adding up fast.
