Need advice on Clonidine for Withdrawal - Day 5

Hi, all.  I'm on Day 5 and entering Day 6 of withdrawals.  Went to work this morning, but the anxiety and panic are really bad.  I quit taking the clonidine becuase I was afraid of being on it and I didn't like the dry mouth.  Now I'm thinking the dry mouth is better than the anxiety!  Have any of you used clonidine (.1mg), and when did you start and stop taking it through your withdrawls?  Also, will help the anxiety?  I would think if my blood pressure goes down and heart rate, it would have a calming effect.  I take 10mg a day of Lexapro for anxiety (have for a few years).  Have had no anxiety when on Lexapro...except for now as I go through lortab withdrawals...and the anxiety is as bad as before when I had to start the Lexapro.

Thank you so much!  Made myself go to work today.  It is helping take my mind off things a little bit, but the anxiety is getting to me.  I think since I had the condition before, I am worried that it is coming back somehow.  You know us humans...always thinking the worst!

I went to work the day after I started clonidine..yes I was a zombie and the dry mouth was killing me..I kept taking it for about 6 weeks, starting a "weaning" process about week 4.  I had klonipin (klonopin) around to help with the panic/anxiety attacks that came.  Just be
careful taking the 2 and driving.  or walking.  or sitting.  They'll knock you right out.
