Need more energy.... grrr

I have been battling hydrocodone for a few years.  The longest I have quit is 3 months.  I had my last pill last friday morning and I am doing pretty well for the most part. (comparing to the other times I have been through wd's.)
I just can't get motivated.  I feel so drained... have no energy.  Any tips on that would be welcome.
I am also determined to stay clean this time.  I do not ever want to go through this wd process again!  These damn pills have made my life go so far down hill!  This is it.... A new beginning!
I just can't wait to have some energy back and feel more "normal" again.

Same here.  Been through a number of W/Ds and the fatigue always won out.  I'm doing the supplements and they may actually be working.  14 days now and I almost feel "normal".  Two days ago was tough but I just worked through it.  I heard lots of people say "oh, you'll feel better, it just takes some time".   I always went back to the pills.  But this time I stuck it out and believe it or not, I am really beginning to not just feel OK, but I'm actually starting to feel good.  And I'm not watching the clock, waiting for the buzz to fade.  It's hard to explain without sounding self-righteous but it's been a long time since I've felt this good.  Hang in there, it's so worth it!  IDon't give up and don't give in.

My doc was hydro also.  I have been clean 4.5 weeks and I can't speak for everyone, but I have more energy now than I did on the pills.  I 'thought' I needed them for energy, but getting off the drugs and changing my lifestyle has shown me what 'real' energy is.  While detoxing, and up to now, I got on vitamins - multi, bcomplex, c, e, and some amino acids-sam-e, l-taurine, l-glutamine, eating really healthy and exercising 3-5 days per week.  I wake up now at 7:30 and in bed 12ish - no napping during the day.  i haven't felt this good in years.  It took some time, sure BUT TOTALLY WORTH IT.  The exercising was key for me!  It helped so much when I became anxious gave me the 'real' energy I needed to get through the day.  Even just going for a brisk walk with my ipod really helped.  You are about 5 days out and that was one of the hardest days for me; the sleep deprivation was pretty draining, but it gets better..  I just encourage you to continue to make healthy changes and choices for your life.  It really does help!  Hang in there - there really is a better life after the pills.

How long have you been clean?  I drink those "energy-c" vitamins which are high in b vitamins and I try to go for walks.  Haven't tried whey protein.  Is that a supplement you can buy?
Thanks for the response and best wishes!
