Need to find a good doctor

Hello everyone,

I'm a 25 year trying to get off my addiction to percocets. I was going to see a doctor today that I did find from suboxene.com. Last night I found out he was a quack. I've been without perks for about 6 days. It's been hell and I really want to start feeling better. How can I really find a good doctor. I hate having to tell a doctor my problem. So, I really want to find one before all the doctors in Arizona know about my condition. Help..

I found out that you have to definitely be just coming off the drug in order to start suboxene. He was going to induct me this Saturday. It would be around day 10 of being off.

that doesn't mean he's a quack no offence or anything just a observation.

If you are already on day 6, why do you want to be on suboxone? You will withdraw when you come off of the suboxone too. How long have you been using? How much?

yea its hard to find a good doctor depending on where you live but in my case yea its fuckin hard. im 19 yrs old and since 2002 i've seen at least 12 doctors for my condtion. i have severe lower back problems. after all these nuero surgons and spine specialits they still haven't found out the problem. i've been diagnosed with so much **** its unbelievable. i've had two surgery options from two surgons and they're not even sure wats wrong. i was on percs too 10/650 and then they put me on fentanyl 25mcg with percs 10/325 for breakthru pain, after being on percs for about 3-4 months. now im day 5 without my new presciption oxycontin 40mg. let me tell you its been straight hell for me. i cant sleep cuz im in so much pain. every postion no matter wat i cant get comfortable. but in my situation i have pain with or without the meds. theres a lot of ppl on here that have good info to give so keep posting and hang in there, i kno its hard but if it doesn't kill you then its gotta make you stonger.

Okay maybe a quack wasn't the right word to use. The only reason I want to get on this treatment is to feel normal again. I want my life back. I started using oxycotin 3 years back. After my father passed away my supply was gone and I didn't know where to get it. I continued taking percs. I've been on them for three years now. I get them monthly from my mom. So, my cycle is I withdraw half the month and them I'm on them half the month. I hate it. I don't know what else to do. This is ruining everything I've worked so hard for. I should be a pharmacist by now. But this habit, well it sucks.

yea i kno wat you mean but u put yourself in that situation if you could just kick the habit then things will lighten up. i have a lot of friends that abuse oxy and one of them died 2 days ago. i dont abuse my medication like everyone must think but i see my friends all ****** up on it and it hurts it really does cuz they could be gone the next day without you even knowing it by overdosing. please work hard at wat your going thru. work as hard as you can to get off this **** then worry about the future. until then good luck and i hope you can kick your habit unlike some of us on here. when you have a friend die from it, makes you think twice about doin this ****. i just hope you can do it, just try n stay positive i kno its easier said then done but keep reading and posting, these ppl on here are so loving and forgiving they will help you. take care

Danny,

Thank you for the words of encouragement. I believe the reason my father died because of an oxy overdose. It looked like Pulp Fiction all over again.

Danny,

Thank you for the words of encouragement. I believe the reason my father died because of an oxy overdose. It looked like Pulp Fiction all over again. His doctor said he had a heart attack due to having PVD for 7 years. My dad never told anyone this and my father only saw this doctor for a year. I think me being in a very depressed state caused me to be get addicted. Hey, these pills make me happy. So, until I can fix the depression thing I really don't see a good outcome here. I was just hoping suboxene would be this miracle drug that would make things all better. I hope the pain you are going through ends soon. I see your situation and think you have a legit reason to be on pain killers and here I am. I only been experiencing bad migraines since 2002. I guess things could be alot worse for me. Hope u find the right doctor soon.
