Umm yea, that would be me... check out the post below, (the one that TaFaye started and look at my comments).  Also you can go to their website and check out a couple of videos they have there.  It is an opiate of sorts and is like replacement therapy..... be informed if you end up taking it

Hi leslie. I'm Cathy and have been on suboxone for 6 week now and I love it. It takes away all cravings and i've been around drugs all kinds for years, quiting with the help of n.a. meetings for a 6 year peroid. Read down and you can see the lady who's husband on crank I wrote a little about myself. But in the end i ended up on pain pills and found suboxone and this site. I feel awesome, and its about time. Good Luck with it. How much did he start you out with, and may I ask, what were you using?                  Cathy

Hi thank you so much for writing back, the Dr. started me out on 1 8mg. pill a day and had me split it.  I have been on it since last Tuesday nite and she has since moved me up to 2 a day.  It has been a Godsend to me Cathy.  I was prescribed Vic XS 7.5 "as needed" (haha) per day. And on day 3 of the 90 count script, I took OC 80's, Tabs, etc etc, whatever I could find and buy.
I feel like my old self again. I am married with two boys and the change in me is unbelievable. So how bout you, mind telling me your story?
Thank you so much it is great talking to some1 who knows what I am going thru.

I too took Suboxone to detox from opiates.. I took it for 10 days. and have been off of it for 12 days. It worked great since I used it how it was intended to be used.. Low doses and for a short period of time.. Use of 21 days produces WD symptpms worse than other opiates.. People who took it as replacement therapy experienced methodone like WD lasting a long time and intense..  This drug is still new to docs and they are playing trial and error with the patients..  Please taper in a timely manner and get off as soon as possible.  I would hate for you to be one of those patients the doc used as a experiement.
Even after 10 days and low doses I had WD for a 24 hour period after being off the Sub for 2 days. You will have some discomfort when you get off but if used correctly and tapered right away the WD should be minimal..
If you have any questions.. just ask.. I have been on this site since Feb so I know the ins and outs..

Welcome
Stephanie

I totally agree with FLaddict.  I feel that people should make an informed decision on suboxone..  I Also agree that it hasn't been aroung long enough and that it maybe hell to get off... I am worried about that.  I am also worried that I may be causing yet more damage by taking it...
