How long after the baby is born do they continue to have percocet withdrawals?

just wondering how things went for you hoping you get this cause in 32 weeks and on hydros and dont want my baby to withdrawl as well

How much were you taking, and for long?

Typically withdrawal symptoms won't show up in your newborn until a few days after delivery. Sometimes common things like constant crying and irritability can be mistaken for withdrawal, however if your infant is withdrawling badly you can also expect loose stools, runny nose, fever, tremors, etc. I believe the length of time would be the same for anyone - a few days. But infants bodies can't handle it the way that we could (hell, I barely felt like I could as an adult!) so the right thing to do if that were to happen would be to notify the hospital immediately.

Does your OB know about your usage? Have you already delivered?
