No pill this morning!!

by kally1, Mar 10, 2007 12:00AM
Ive been taking 1 pill of 10/325 norco every for hours for the past 5 years. I woke up this morning (for the 1st time in 5 years) and didn't take a pill. What was the worst part for me was that my chest & throat hurt the most from all the ciggs I smoke when I'm on the pills. Im gonna wait as long as possible before I take a pill, and I havn't smoked all day. It would be much easier on me to quit these pills I think if I quit smoking. No easy task, 10 years of smoking but im gonna give it a shot. Ill keep in touch, thanks - Kally

Good to hear from you.. Yippee, you did not take a pill yet, I think thats something to be very proud of.  Sounds like you are moving into the right direction..If you could quit smoking to then that would be a plus.  Just do the best you can. The most important thing is your making progress and that is great.. Keep us posted, Huggs, G

As soon as I stopped the pills, I stopped smoking!  Just like that, 14 years for me I think it was that I smoked, and 2 years on hydrocodone!  You can do it!

Hey guys, thanks for the response, helps keep me motivated. Rebecca - Was just wondering if you quit C/T and if you had a doctor help you.

Well, I just posted that I did the same thing today.  :)

How are you feeling?  I'm feeling sweaty and shaky but okay.

I quit smoking 20 years ago and didn't have any problems with it.  I hope I have that experience with the drugs.  :)
