Norco Detox

I was on norco 5/325 four a day for four months. My doctor then increased my dose to10/325 twice a day.I was only on them for two weeks and before long I started taking three sometimes four a day. I ran out two weeks before I should have. My doctor is on leave and no other doctor in the office will give me a refill. They say it's too soon. It's been 48 hours since my last pill and I feel cold, have a headache and feel jumpy. Will it get worse?

It could, everyone is different but since this is your first issue with prolonged use of opioids you shouldn't have too severe a time with it. The one major complaint of most during withdrawal are stomach/bowel issues. Get Imodium it will help a great deal.

Are you drinking enough?  It's very easy to get dehy drated.  Keep drinking.  Sports drinks, juices, water, soups, popsicles will all help.  Try some ibuprofen for the headache & other aches. Look @ the thomas recipe; it will help with the symptoms.

I had a really bad WD once and I didn't even realize I was addicted!
I have had a few WD experiences and most of them the 2nd day is the worst and it gets better on day three.  It may linger around a bit.  I would really get scared if you were laying down in bed not able to get up and sweating really bad with chills.  I think that you got lucky (even tho the headache sounds bad).  My guess is that you may start to feel better soon. My fingers are crossed for you because I now how uncomfortable it is!
