Norco/Percocet withdrawal (help)

I have been taking norco on and off for awhile. It pretty much was just once every weekend or so but I recently had knee surgery so I had to take up to 8 a day (did that for about two days). And Ive been tapering off ever since and I went 4 days with only taking 1 norco (10/325). I felt ok sunday the day after and ok on monday during the day.... but Monday night I was tired and went to sleep at 12 AM and only got 4 hours of sleep. Im posting on these forums right now and have been off norco for about 60 hours. Im kinda shaking but I dont know if thats because im worried or scared because I havent been shaking all day. And my stomach hurts and my heart rate seems to race sometimes.

Im not taking any drugs right now (cold turkey)..... no drugs to help with detox? (is that ok?). Doing so is just really hard for me.

Also how long till I will be able to sleep again. Im not getting any anxiety attacks/depression that other people seem to be feeling here..... oh and no diarahea and vommiting either. Is my withdrawal going fine?

It is nice to hear someone is stopping and trying to get clean........

For medium users and people who havent used for that long you will stay in Stage One W/Ds which does not include diarrhea and vomiting you should be thankful.........

You can do the detox four days and only one pill is great....stop using and get totally clean.....before its to late and you become a full blown addict.......

Be thankful.........

You could be having some withdrawals.  The symptoms of withdrawal are increased heart rate and blood pressure, dilated pupils, sweating, tremors, anxiety, diarrhea, abdominal pain and muscle aches and pain.  It usually, so I have read, is not life threatening but, you could always call your doctor and come clean with him.  He may be willing to help you with some medication to lessen the symptoms.  I am now on day 7 and continue to have sleep problems. It takes a while for your body to start producing those natural endorphins that they quit making when you started the pain meds.  Keep your chin up, it does get better every day.
