Norco

I have been taking Norco 10/325mg for four years now due to two bad car accidents (one only a few months ago) that really messed up my back.  I never had a problem with it before but for some reason after my last car accident, when I wake up in the morning, my fingers, lips, and eyes are swollen twice the size they should be.  They have ran tests on me (Seeing an arthritus dr next week) but nobody can seem to find the reason why I am swelling in these places.  My right lymth node has been swollen ever since this car accident too, but the thing that gets me is that none of this happened until after my second car accident.  It seems like when I take the Norco (I am prescribed 4 a day) that it makes the lympthn node more swollen, and I am wondering if thats why I am swelling because when I have only taken two a day I have not swollen quite as bad, but still did swell in my eyes, lips and fingers.  I can't not take anything because I have three small children and am in a great deal of pain.  The Internal Medicine Dr couldn't find the problem so said I was swelling due to depression and I dont think that's it.  I suffer from anxiety & depression.  I am just wondering if anyone has any info that could help me or ha went through something simular because I have no where else to turn...

I don't know anything detailed/medical about your question - - but generally speaking that sounds very odd.  If you were on the same prescription before I can't imagine you are now allergic or something like that.  And I have never heard of those side effects.  I am suprised by your Internal Med Drs saying it is due to depression???  Is there any 'getting another opinion' option with you/your health plan, etc?

I am going to see an arthritus dr. next week, I have already seen my family doctor, Internal Medicine dr, and Nurologist, I am just getting frustrated because none of this happened until after the car accident and NOBODY can figure out whats wrong with me.  My blood pressure has even been running low since then.  I am def up for any options that may help me, I just dont know which way to turn next....
