Not advice just my experience for easier WDs

I have went thru CT a couple of times now because I'm hard headed and never seem to learn.  But, on to my point -- this last time I went CT which I'm now on day 5 off of hydros AGAIN - and this time was so much easier than the other 3 or 4 times I CT'd.  I wouldn't say it was awesome and symptom free but much more bearable this last time.  WHY you ask?!?!  I took flexeril on days 1, 2 and 3.  I stopped taking it yesterday because I had to return to work today, but I definitely believe the flexeril helped because it was so much more bearable this time.  I'm by no means 100% but yesterday (day 4) I was functional and today I'm a little more functional.  I still have lingering WD symptoms such as queasiness, blurry vision a bit, and lethargy but the pain is gone, the fever is gone, and the bathroom runs are gone.  Again, it may not work for everyone but it was a definite lifesaver.  I have no worries about being addicted to flexeril becaue quite frankly I hate the drowsy feeling that comes with it and never took them before this CT.  I gave it a try because I had no access to valium or any of the other benzos.  It worked.

you're right... i can't imagine i'd be poppin a couple of flexerils to chill out   lol   it worked for acute withdrawals though, probably because i slept thru most of it!!  feelin pretty good today.  the fever is back but most not as weak and tired.  not sure what's up with the fever, but hope it goes away soon.

Its a muscle relaxer......my regular family DR. always prescribed those to me for my horrible back pain. they certainly are not addicting to me and they are non narcotic. one would seem to help with the RLS problem, I would think. I did notice they helped sleep somewhat.  anything that helps get you over the hump, would be a big plus. but I never felt good teh next day on those things.....

one can get them easily prescribed, or atleast thats what they always wanted to give me.
