Now is Not the Time

The board is and has been very busy lately with so many people trying to detox.  Now is not the time to be stirring the pot and trying to cause drama.  Can we please try to refrain and concern ourselves with those who are trying to help themselves in the attempt to improve their lives.

I've never been a "cherry garcia" fan, but make it Edy's butter pecan and now we're talking.  and as a diabetic I shouldn't be thinking about it, but I saw in the grocery store yesterday boxes of freshly made peanut brittle and oh, was it tough to pass by.

thanks...that's my favorite picture of him..and a frequent pose when I'm sitting on our couch watching TV.  He'll sit there for 20 minutes looking just like that, occasionally handing me a paw to shake, trying to get my attention :-)

also when he runs to the door and skids around the wall when i get home from work...

however, there are mornings like this morning where instead of purring or nipping at me or pawing my hair, he decided to march back and forth across my face to get me out of bed... hmmph.  not so cute... ;)

This is a public forum not a private message forum as far as I am concerned.  I think the worst thing med help ever did was create private messaging.  You don't have to like me and I totally respect your opinion.  Things in life don't alway work out the way they "should be"  The forum is kinda like an AA meeting.  Take from it what works for you and disregard what doesn't.  The fact that you could not resist responding shows that you are just as human as me or anyone else out here, and anything but nice.  So I guess we all have it in us.......even you.

I have resisted my urge to respond when you post junk like this, either trying to stir the pot yourself or to get positive feedback for yourself.  I would much prefer to send you my opinion of you in private but you have chosen to keep your profile such that you cannot receive private emails.  So alas here I am, going against what I believe in to say that while every now and then I find you posting something nice, it is so rare.  I find you to be a trouble maker, constantly posting things that are not kind, not helpful and certainly not supportive.  You admit that you are having a miserable time in recovery.  talk about that - get to the point. Stop the constant drama acts and try to be productive and helpful here or take some help - or take a hike.  If you have any class at all, you will respond to me in private as I have made my profile available so that if people have something nice or not so nice to say to me, they can do it in private and keep the forum what it should be - a place for kindness, support and recovery.
