Nurofen Plus & DAS

I have been taking Nurofen Plus for about 18 months. Usually 2 - 6 tablets a day but more often than not its 4 tablets a day. I have been offered a job on the mines and I had a DAS (Drug & Alcohol Screen) last week. The results were that i had Morphine in my body. I am assuming this is a generic code for the Codeine. I was told that a lab test can identify the fact that it is Nurofen based on the amount in your system and not a illicit drug. Can the lab tell how long you have been taking it. I did declare the Nurofen Plus to the nurse (but not that I had been taking it for so long yet i still failed. The details of my intake were as follows last week:

Monday 6 Tablets
Tuesday 0 Tablets
Wednesday ( DAS Day) 0 Tablets before the test, 2 after the test
Thursday 4 Tablets
Friday 2 Tablets
Saturday 1 Tablet
Sunday (today) 0 Tablets
Monday (tomorrow) 0 Tablets
Tuesday (DAS #2 Day 08.00) 0 Tablets

My question is does anybody think I will pass this test? I have been drinking a LOT of water over the past 48 hours to try to flush it out of my system but will it do any good? Should I keep drinking the water? Can a DAS detect that I have been taking the tablet long term? Are the amounts in my system more than somebody who only took the pill for a couple of days?

I had my second test today and will find out the results in a few days. I managed to see the lab report which was interesting. After the previous test I had no detectable Codeine in my system at all. I did however have 360 ng/ml of Morphine in my system. The lab report stated that the dosage detected was consistent with my declaration of Nurofen Plus.

However, the mining industry in Australia has a zero tolerance policy on drugs & alcohol. As I understand it the Cut Off level for Opiates in the USA is 1,000 ng/ml with anything below that level registering a Negative test. Here in OZ it is 300 ng/ml which is very low. I am disappointed that I was only 60 ng/ml over but hopefully the second test will come in under the 300 ng/ml limit.

Drink a TON of water and excersize. And make sure too pee a few times in the morning. Also you gibe your pee sample pee a little in the toilet before u do in the cup because the start of your pee is heavily concentrated and would contain more of th drug assuming it's still present. This could still pass if you do it right.
