OC vs dilaudid

Does anyone know where a conversion chart is online...I want to know how a 40 mg OC compares to a 4 mg dilaudid.  I'm working on a taper, but OC (doc) is not always available.  The d's are OK, but I don't get the energy from them like I do an OC, which is confusing considering they are both opiate based, aren't they?  Thanks for any help>

There is no comparison dilaudid is much stronger.........
1mg of Dilaudid is 8 times stronger than Morphine.......

4 mg of Dilaudid = 32 mg of Morphine

you don't use strong narcotics to taper........

If you want to taper use Suboxone or Subutex in a two week program max..........

WOW! You have enlightened me, I feel dumb, I always thought they were comparable.  I guess my tolerance is higher than I think.  I am thinking of going the Sub route.  I'm just afraid of losing my career if found out and if my addiction is on paper somewhere, then it could always come out, that is what keeps me from going to see a sub dr., is there any way to go and stay anonymous.. I know the answer to that is no.  Beach-thank you for your info and I always enjoy reading your knowledge, you are an inspiration and it's nice to know that you care to help others that have been where you once were.

from what i have heard it is anonymous...most you pay cash...Plus read about the hippa act in your state..

Hi Hun!

Please..stay away from the dilaudid. It is scary stuff. I spoke w/you yesterday about the Suboxone. I did it for 16 days. It was a huge help for me to get off the pain meds. I don't see why you wouldn't stay anonymous. You do not need to tell the doc what you do for a living. My Sub doc did not contact my PCP. He left that up to me.

I had a shot of dilaudid after back surgery 20 years ago.  The stuff scared the bejeebers out of me..like I had to force myself to breathe, and I was afraid of going to sleep and not waking up..they put me on something else.

Near the end of my addiction I had a connection for viles of dilaudid and fentanyl........I used to go to the medical supply store and buy a heplock and have this chick put it in my arm........so I didn't have to use a needle in the vein when I wanted to just hooked up the syringe to the heplock and let it go then I even use Saline to flush it......

If you thought dilaudid was potent 8-1 to Morphine
Fentanyl is very potent 80-1 to Morphine

Liquid Fentanyl in the viles was the best High I ever found in drug history and it got me into some huge trouble and my weight dropped from 205 with a 38" waist to 118 and a 26" waist.......
