OC withdrawal

What is the best way to stop taking the darn OC's? Everytime I wean down on them I get a few extra dollars and I'm right back getting more. I have two beautiful daughters who are my life and I feel like I am cheating them out of more. Any suggestions?

How much a day are you taking?  When you stop taking them, do you start going through withdrawls?  There are a lot of suggestions and ways to take care of this but it would be helpful to have more information.  Congratulations on taking this first step.  Keep coming back here.  There are a lot of people on here that have successfully overcome their addiction.  We are all here for you and wishing you the best, keep us informed of your progress!

Thank you for replying. I am so ashamed of this stupid habit. I can't sleep, don't want to spend time with anyone, just want to be alone to suffer. I have cut my dose down from about 60 mg per day to maybe 25 mg per day since March 26. I am still on about 20 to 30 mg per day. When I started, I was on 3 to 4 80's per day. I was reading something on this forum one time about some over the counter meds that will alleviate the symptoms somewhat. I know it sounds silly to even be here talking about WD's but they are there everyday. Any advice will help. Please
