Oh what a relife it is!!!!!

I really think the stimulator turned up high is what caused my planers F.  The leg stretches wouldn't work because it kept my calves ridge . Now that I've turned it down my heels don't hurt near as  bad, And as far as the ambien goes, I've switched to amitripyling. Haven't had any ambien in 2 nights. I've been sleeping til 3:00am Then go right back to sleep!!!!!!!!!!!!! I just hope I don't have to be on it for long. Do you think I'll go through WD when I quit it? I got my back injections yesterday. God Bless everyone.

Amitriptyline is a tricylic antidepressant...used for pain, depression, neuropathy and other nerve damage issues.  Not an addictive med...but one that needs to be tapered if you should decide in the future you want to go off of it~

Oh and if you decide to keep taking the amitriptyline You are still considered clean by me and pretty much everyone else .It is not a drug of abuse and you may find that you need it for your pain

Oh yeah....I know you'll "get this", Tooter...I forgot to share what I thought of when I first read the title of this thread....I thought of the old commercial:

"Plop plop, fizz fizz, oh what a relief it is!"      :):):):)

So HAPPY for you Tooter!!!  Finding out the stimulator setting was too high was a HUGE gift, eh?  I could tell early on that being on the Ambien was stressing you to the max.  Now you have some pain relief and are off the Ambien....YOU GO GIRL!!!!

Hope you'll give the Amitriptyline some time....your body is still healing from going off the hydro and now the ambien.  When and if you decide to go off the Ami....be sure to wean off and talk to your dr. about a correct taper plan.  That is a med I went on at 9 mos clean....and though I am not on it any longer....it needs to be tapered when you discontinue it.

Enjoy your increased sleep...and you decreased pain levels....delighted for you, Tooter~

Thanks Ricart, I was in a panic over the ambien. What a relief it is to get over that!!!!  It is like a weight has been lifted off my shoulders. I didn't feel like I was really Clean until I quit those. I'm going to give the amitriptyline about a month and hopefully I can get off it. Thanks for the support and information. God Bless

Great to hear Tooter !!   This is awesome news.   The amitriptyline will not be anything like getting off of the opiates. A proper taper and you will be fine .
Glad You aren't in pain anymore friend ;))   Glad you are off the ambien too.
