Ok. I'm thinking of trying this combo. Need feedback

I'm thinking of asking my regular doctor for Suboxone for the addiction and Cymbalta for the pain, depression, anxiety combo. Does anyone know if these work ok together? I am desperate to get off of Vicodin and NEVER get back on again. I also don't want to gain weight or go batty. That's a reasonable wish huh?

Everyone is different, i myself havenot taken anything, maybe thats why i am so dang depressed...
I used to be on Cymbalta a few years ago, it did not help me, but know others who it does help...Just talk to your Dr. ask him what he reccomends... Hopefully he can get you on your way...

I hope nobody gets offended by the batty or overweight remark. I am already overweight so I don't want to gain anymore. I am also batty half the time so no need to add to that either. That's all I meant

i tried the Cymbalta too, and it did not work for me either. Plus I personally had really weird side effects from it.

THAT SAID - I think these really are questions for your doc.  He or She is the only one who will really know which drug addresses all of your symptoms.

The Welbutrin is great for me, but some I know it can make anxious.  For anxiety, I know some folks who take Buspar and love it.  I also saw Paxil work wonders on a loved one...

Everyone's chemistry is different, and as well, none of us are doctor's (as far as I know.)

I would definitely ask your doc which one sounds best.

Good luck sister - do it soon.  It's really helping with my depression by going on something...

Make sure your doc can write for suboxone cause it takes a special certification.
