Although most old posts don't get read and can be a waste of time, they are not always. I have gotten in contact with quite a few cocaine users that googled about coke and it brought them to an old post. Even if 1 in 5 gets help, to me that's better than 0 out of 5. Dang it, lol.

I found this forum by googling and coming into a really old post. Alot of people are scared or freaked out and they just want to talk and/or need info so they don't check the date. None of us just came on here knowing exactly how everything worked on the forum.. that is why when I see an old post that a new person has asked a question on I explain to them the post is old and to start a new thread and they will get responses.. alot of people get lost in the shuffle b/c people won't read old posts. That's my 2 cents! :)

Well, if you don't mind offering help to someone who will not read it, then more power to you.  I'm not suggesting there is nothing to be learned from it, but if your offering immediate advice or help.......it's kind of like sitting and talking to your hand.  

I think I will go back to the archives and answer about 500 old posts.......In fact, why dont' we all go about 40 pages back and start answering them......We can start a new learning trend.

Sometimes thats how people find the forum and they need help and dont know how to post new things, Remember SUPPORT and what does it hurt to tell them how to post a new question? Dang it
