On Suboxone and needing to have surgery

I am on Suboxone and I am going to have surgery in the next couple of weeks. I know that the doctor will give me some pain pills for the pain and I dont think that the suboxone will work for pain after surgery. Does anyone have any suggestions on what I should do to prevent myself from being in pain. I have 31 days with out Perocet and the thought of taking one still crosses my mind. I dont want to fill that good ole feeling again then decide not to take the suboxone and go back on the 10 perks.
