Opiate addiction

I've been taking 100 10mg vicodins a day somedays a bit more or less. I will be starting a treatment plan next week and have been fighting with crazy withdrawals for a week now. Are there any other things I can do to help myself not feel so dead/worthless?

WOW, if you were consuming 100 a day then you are headed in the right direction by getting into treatment. It's a wonder you've made it out so far. Did you CT and go from 100 to zero? Congrats either way and hang in there!

Treatment is the best thing for you.  I was taking up to (well,  let's just say alot) because of a chronic back issue (4 spinal fusions).  IF you are taking them for recreation, you need to find out why.... and only therapy can help with that.  IF it is a legitimate pain issue, go to a detox that will help manage the pain... and teach youi the proper use of pain meds.  Either way... get help.  You'll be glad you did.  I stopped even though My back requires meds 3 times,  seven days each.  I made it, but it taught me the difference between dependent and addicted.  It also taught me I was pretty dumb to walk in absolute agony (the type where if someone tries to rob you,  you pull the trigger for them.)  I hope the absolute best for you and your recovery.... and keep posting,  believe me, it helps,  and you'll meet some of the best friends you may never see.  Be strong... spartan
