Opiates

Opiates

My husband and I are wanting to kick opiate addiction. For myself, I have been using for about 3 years. I am only taking 6 vicodin a day but that is still too many. My husband was prescribed norcos for 3 years but now just used vicodin. We tried to detox at home and successfully made it thru the first day. It was pure hell! We have a seven and two year old and it is so hard to detox with them at home. I need to know how to detox without showing too many symptoms to my babies. We want off of this so bad and are just at a loss. Neither one of us can take off of work and cannot work having to go to the bathroom every 10 minutes

u have an all to well similar situation as me and my husband.  We were addicted to all perks, vikes, morphine, anything eventually that we could get our hands on for almost 5 years we were taking 14 to 23 of depending what we had, we realized we had a problem, we heard at that time tons of commercials for turntohelp.com, we visited 3 different doctors with our problem and by that time we were introduced to suboxone, well here we are almost another 3 years later trying to come off suboxone, not at choice but we are now very happy to know the real truth, we couldn't be tapered either time especially this time since the doctor is out on vacation for the week and we have no way to get the rx needed, basically what im getting at is do your research, it's not gonna be easy, especially with KIDS, i have a 7 almost 8 year old and a 2 and 1 year old 2girls and 1 boy, and trust u me especially being the female it might be like my situation a bit more difficult especially if u have a husband with a lot of demands.  Just try to find things that keeps ur mind off the pills its not easy but depending how much it means to you depends how much harder u want to do it, I honestly believe if it wasn't for the doctor not being here i would be right back on them like yesterday but it;s the 4th full day and im starting to feel semi better.  So if u go in for something like suboxone to help with withdrawal symptoms from opiates, u may want to second guess that one too, these dt's from subox are almost but not quite as bad as dt's from opiates, so dont try to cover one problem with something else the only thing u can do which may be hard due to no appetite, shakiness, nausea, trembling, heart racing, tossing, the worst is the gut wrenching feeling in ur gut and real bad insomnia, so get alot of viatamins such as, Viatamin B-12, Viatamin B-6, Calcium, Magnesium, potassium, folic acid, or even a prenatle viatamin wether u r prego or not cuz it has more than enough viatamins in it.  Lot's and Lot's and Lot's of water to flush it out of ur system that is the main key is getting it out of ur system as quickly as possible.  Good Luck to u and ur husband, All is well in Love and War right, Try to keep urself from thinking about it to much find anything u can to keep ur mind focused, yes there is symptoms that are unbarable at moments but be strong, just like at ur kids and think is this really something i want to keep doing to them because no matter how much u dont show they do know they are smart little things unfortunatly.
