Hi Casandra, welcome to the forum! Why are you asking this question? Are you pregnant and taking Suboxone? Are you taking Opiates? A bit more information will help us give you better advice. To attempt to answer your question, I believe that only certain doctors are able to prescribe Suboxone. I do not believe that an OB/GYN is one of them. I have no personal experience with Suboxone but other members here do. They will be along to weigh in soon. Please give us more info about you and your situation. Take care!
I haven't been to my suboxone dr since November of 2013. Unless things have changed that I'm not aware of.....
Suboxone dr's are required to go thru classes n licensing procedures. Not every dr can prescribe. Unless your obgyn has gone thru this procedure than no, he/she won't b able to prescribe. Hope that helps.
