Oxys.. need experienced users to answer...

ALright.. well SWIM is trying to wean off of Oxy's.. not every single day cause I only have access to them at certain times.. but when they are around.. SWIM does 3-8 80mgs per day.. usually sniffing a half to one whole one at a time.. well SWIM is wondering, If instead of sniffing them in smaller amounts at a time to wean off, would it be better, to eat them in small chunks so that way the opiates still come and last longer and make the ****** feeling go away, and then when SWIM runs out of the 80's switch over to eating a 10mg perk a day? Or would it be just better to sniff in smaller and smaller amounts until SWIM runs out and then try to go cold turkey? this is his first attempt, but he is serious so he'd like to try and do it the best way possible.. any help would be greatly appreciated by SWIM.. SWIM is very scared of the withdrawl (withdrawal), whats even worse, is the withdrawl (withdrawal) is seeming extremely mental as well, as when SWIM doesnt have the pills for a short period of time, like say waking up without anything, mind goes crazier than anything, and while the sweats and the crappy feeling is bad, the mind just makes it 10x worse..  Hes Got one more day.. so hopefully someone answers soon...

I know this isnt what you want to hear, but either way you do it, it is going to suck (given your consumption). It would probably be more efficient, withdrawal wise, to eat them as the bioavailability is higher orally than snorting. And it will last longer too before you start fiending another dose. I am just starting day 14 of coming off of an ~80mg/day oxy habit for 2 years, although at one point I was doing 2 sometimes 3 80's a day. I felt almost normal after about day 9. However I still have trouble sleeping at night.

Good luck to you how ever its done so long as you straighten your life out.

I have been addicted to oxycotin for over 9 years the last 2 years I have been in a methadone treatment program. I was taking at least 500 mg of OC a day, life was a real drag spent all my time getting high and seeking more, the money was not a problem at the time, but like all good things the money finely run out and I was in trouble, started stealing taking my wifes meds that she needed and was taking properly 7.5 mg loratab she got a script of 240 per month I would eat them all in a few days (talk about being wrong). Now I could write all day about the things I did the get meds but same song different under another title. Now this is what I ended up doing I went to a methhadone clinic I am at 140 mg per day there are no craving's no withdrawls, there are other health issues but they started with the OC. One day I may choose to reduce my dose or stay were I'm at, but life is good now my wife, child, family, and friends like me again I'm able to work pay bills and save money. When I come home from work or play I know the lights will be on the rent is paid, and food is in the frig. So thats what I did. Good luck with what ever you do but do what ever works for you.
