PAIN in my bones

by toxictome, Feb 17, 2008 02:18PM
Hey all...I'm on day 25. I have been feeling great and sleeping pretty good. I tapered off a lower dose of vics.
I'm wondering if anyone else has had this problem this far out after wd's..yesterday evening all my bones ached...especially my hips, back and tops of legs. I took a hot bath and went to bed...today the same thing..Motrin seems to help a little, as does a hot bath for a short while...but i feel like i got run over by a truck...is this normal?? Maybe it'sthe weather or a flu bug...i feel fine otherwise...

I haven't been on for a few days, been busy w/my boys....so I'm catching up on where everyone is at!!!  Take care............

Withdrawals can be so strange.  Its hard to say if this is the flu coming on or the withdrawals giving you a final kick in the pants.  I was almost 2 months and would have odd days when I felt like I was back on day 3.  Sorry I'm no help on this one. Maybe someone else has had this.
Congrat's on 25 days !  That is so great.  Stay with it !   Hugs    Mary

Congrats on 25 always good to hear how well people are doing.I beleive its part of the gig as I have experinced same but have found that potassium and magnisium supplements keeps it from acting up.I forgot to take one day last week and my bones ached all day;Give it a try and thanks for the good news

Congrats on 25 days.  One month is a key point in your recovery.  Lots of folks relapse at one month 9 (I did).  The pains might be a way of your addiction trying to fool you.  Don't go for it.  You will be great.  Stay strong.

I am with Mary... I am on week 7 and STILL have days that feel like day 3. Its rainy here today and even my knuckles are achy... I dont understand it? But, you are not alone. I have on and off days. Days that I am determined to go to the doc and see what is wrong with me, then the next day I feel fine? Sorry, if this dont help, but, I feel that way too.

Pain in the bones is a symptom of w/d.  I knew alot of s/s and when I started to have bone pain I was worried so I looked it up myself.  Sure enough, the bone pain was listed as a symptom.
