PCP (?) Flashbacks

many years ago I was given PCP (I think, going by the reaction) without my knowledge or consent.  I halucinated for nearly three weeks.  Since then I cannot get near anything mind-altering, a glass of wine is sufficient to induce hallucinations (mainly in the form of ghastly thoughts).  There are other lingering symptoms, I think, including confusion and attendant anxiety.  

Is there anything I can do to reverse this?

Back in 1985 (eons ago, he he...), I was picking up my girl from her job.  A Filipino guy and his 2 friends were sharing a "joint", and asked if I wanted a "toke". I politely said "No". They accused me of being a "Narc"/Cop, etc...I still refused.  Then as if to disprove their claim, I said..."Well, what the heck, give me...".  I took a couple small "hits", then one more for the road, as my girl came out & we left. 5 min. later, driving down I-80, the freeway started moving! Quake? No. I felt like a heart attack was starting...(I have excellent health), and I realized...that "joint" was altered/or dipped. (It was yellowish in color)...My girl got angry with me, for trying it. I made it home, Thank God, but the effects were horrible! Time stood still...seconds became minutes, minutes were hours...I finally did get some sleep, but my dreams were Demonic, to say the least! I thought I was in HELL, and dying! It was real SH!T!  Next day I asked some friends, what the Hell that crap was? "Sounds like "sherm", a friend told me. "What's that?" I asked. ''Pot dipped in PCP'', he said. I could NOT believe that anyone could/would, offer pot to a stranger, knowing it was "dipped"!  What an A-Hole! (I found this dweeb later, and beat the Hell out of him!)...anyway...this tiny bit of PCP - did THAT to me...and as I say, I am extremely healthy, and no illicit drug use...so, imagine the effects on weaker, "drug-taking" folks! I have only had one/two "flashbacks" (one was recently, in my dreams, 30 damn years later!) Horrible stuff! I say to you..DO NOT TAKE Illegal Street DRUGS! Period! Please! Never! OK? Get into some Buddhist-type mind therapy, whatever...but I doubt traditional doctors will help. OK? Good Luck...

Okay.  Chronic anxiety is an issue I'm currently addressing... finally.

I cannot imagine that this was drug induced. It sounds like a medical issue and I think you need to see another doctor and get a correct diagnosis. I hope they find the root of the problem. Let us know how you make out.

from one experience... when I knew I had been exposed to something, just not what? No.

Yes.  He told me I was schizophrenic.

Hello. Have you spoken to your doctor about this? I bet this is rather scary for you to go through! I wish I had some sound advice and answers for you, but I don't. But a doctor would be my suggestion. Good luck and I hope you find the answers, it must be frustrating to live this way. Keep checking back, somebody may have an answer for you.
