I dont think it will hurt your detox, I would say if if helps you take it, it is habit forming so you can't get addicted to it...I would try it...I'm sure it would help with the pain and RLs...good luck, remember one day at a time , stay strong...you can do this..keep posting.
flexeril is not habit forming..if u r not tolerant to muscle relaxers then it may help u sleep for hours..years ago when i first took it i slept 12 hours straight! i only take 5 mgs now when i do need to take it for my back but during detox the full 10 mgs might be best..i ahave a low tolerance to things thsat make u sleepy as a rule..good luck and sleep is important during detox cos when u r tired u r weaker....rest is important to keep u strong..best of luck...oh...zanaflex is another that will put me out for the night
thank you will try tonite hopefllly day 5 is better
No it won't hurt the withdrawal. I'm taking robaxin, which is another muscle relaxer, to help me along. Like enemy said, just don't take too much of anything...just as needed.
i have flexiril 10mg prescribed but for other reasons this wont hurt my withdrawal if i do take it right?
I would say yes.
I used the following for my detox:
The full Thomas Recipe
3 adderall broken into bits to help w/focus in the first 3 days
Ambien
Xanix
Tylenol Pm
Temazapam
Soma
Advil
Eggo Waffles & Syrup! (the only food I could stomach for a while)
Not in full doses either. For sleep I alternated the meds in order to not become dependant of one of these.
The Xanix was a hugh help for anxiety.
Nothing really helped my headaches or body aches, other than time.
Best Wishes.
Day 4 is very close to the time that physical withdrawals generally start subsiding. Of course, this all depends upon your dosages. 30mg Roxy's are pretty powerful things, so it may linger a while. I'm gonna be honest here, I tried Flexeril during most all of my detoxes. They never seemed to help me at all. That being said, I'm pretty tolerant to muscle relaxers, so none of them did me very much good even when I was using. Try them before bedtime, they may help you to sleep. Please, resist the urge to take large doses. Keep it at or under the dosages on the bottle.
Muscle relaxers help a lot of people drift off to sleep...benadryl can help, too.
