This childish behavior has to stop. I don't dislike anyone on this forum. It takes energy to be hostile and mean. In the end it only destroys the vessels it's carried in.
We need to get the forum back to the way it was. We can still be friends with one another. It doesn't mean we share the same opinions. If Mangee didn't get through to you, I have very little hope that I can because he's much better.
There is one thing we have here that isn't materialistic. We all are in different stages of w/d and should be helping ourselves and others.

I agree with LadySundown.  I really don't understand any of the animosity.  It was just a friendship that developed and they talked about something other than medications and w/d's.  Who cares??  I wasn't going to get involved and have seen the drama in the past and have just chosen not to read the posts or if I started to and then realized what it was about I would just skip over it.  I really think this is hindering to those who want to get better.  

However, it might in some twisted way help some because it gets their mind off of their own misery but we really need to remember we are here to help one another and not bring others down.  I understand the feelings of depression and anxiety and the need to vent.  But it is really hurtful when directed to specific people.  I am sure DuchessGolden has read these things (or perhaps will) and will be very taken aback by them as she gives of her time freely to those in need who may otherwise not receive such advice due to not having the financial means or because they are not at the point to where they can reach out to those in their personal lives yet.

We all come from all walks of life.  I personally have chosen at this point not to share much about my personal life for the sake of anonymity because this is such a public forum ANYONE could read.  But others feel more comfortable and that is perfectly fine.

The thing is there are always going to be people in life that rub us the wrong way (especially if we are experiencing w/d's) and especially since this is on the internet we aren't face to face so we can't communicate as well.  We can't hear inflections in the voice or see the expressions on one anothers faces.  I think it would be best to give the benefit of the doubt.  I didn't think twice about the post about the Louis luggage and such.  I actually didn't get how expensive it was then I realized it was Louis V.  But I am just not into that.  I have other things that I am into.  She just shared something she enjoys.  And we have to remember she doesn't have to be on here giving us advice.  She is doing it because it is her passion.  And if she develops friendships on her so be it.

I wish everyone a great recovery.  We all got here for different reasons.  Many due to chronic pain and that alone is very hard to live with.  Let's try to give a little. And just ignore the posts that are just plain nonsense, BTW. There are some great people on here.

calm down sweetie...lol...eveything is ok in forum land.   i don't think anyone said anything that was bad...just stating opinions...that is until we heard from our resident *****.   and i am used to him...as everyone else that has been here for a while is too.  

it's all good...different opinions are what makes the world go round.

I don't have a choice about sleep tonight. My elavil was raised to 300mgs. That and a xanax plus a librium will knock me on my butt no matter where I'm at. lol  You get some rest, also. I haven't heard how the boys are doing lately. Christian is a married man. (why is that making ME feel older??) lol
