Pain Killer Addiction

Hi, Today is day 1 for me to battle my addiction with pain killers. Im sitting at home now by myself trying to kick it by myself before I have to be assessed on Thursday and it's been suggested that I focus on the Detox Programme. I don't want to have to do this as in inpatient. I have a 12 yo son and a 4 yo daughter that I need to care for. Not that I've been much good to them lately.

I need to know what to expect over the next couple of days as I'm detoxing myself cold turkey at home alone? My parents wanted me to stay with them but i'm happy here. I've given my mum my car keys and any medications at all left in the house after I dumped what I had left at 9pm. I had to fast for blood tests that were done this morning as its suspected that I've done some serious Liver or Kidney damage already.

Please help me in telling me what to expect so I know how to deal with it?

Thank you so much and i'm looking forward to hearing back from someone soon. I'm vomiting and feel very shaky and my heart is racing at the moment. Is this normal?

Samk

Hot baths/shower, walking and any thing that basically can keep you distracted and your mind off things. I purchased  natural artesian water, heat it up and add a little bit of pure organic maple syrup and a squeeze of organic lemon, this will help clean out the toxins; since i didn't have an appetite, the syrup is good to keep your sugar level up and the lemon helps with the flavor and flushes the toxins out. i did that at about day 3, but the first 1-3 days i did drink a lot of herbal tea, it just calmed me down, it's relaxing. I also used excedrin for the headaches.
you've done the first step in a better future for you and your children's. dont' give up, it will be tough, but you can beat this.

hi,
what is your DOC, (drug of choice),
as you already know, nobody can do this for you, you have taken a massive step, 24hrs almost over,
its not going to be easy, but you already know that. the more it hurts the closer it is to ending, please no matter how hard it is DONT TAKE ANY DOC, you have done the hard part, dont make yourself go throu the first 24hrs again,
one day at a time, 1 hr at a yime if thats what it takes
hang in ther
it will get better, it has too
good luck
